Handmade Mens Real Leather Black Police Shirt for Sale
Black is where the uniform-pattern leather shirt started, and it remains the version most people buy. This one is handmade in real leather with epaulettes, twin flap chest pockets, a pointed collar and a straight hem. It is styling only — not official police clothing, with no badges, insignia or force markings. Worn as a fashion shirt it is the sharpest thing you can put on without a jacket.

Why black works best on this pattern
The uniform shape relies on symmetry and clean lines rather than on colour, so black — which shows shape and hides grain variation — is the colour it was designed around. The epaulettes and pocket flaps read as structure rather than decoration, and the shirt looks deliberate instead of costume.
Black is also the most forgiving version to own. Unlike our white and red shirts, it needs no special care beyond keeping it dry and hanging it properly.
Handmade construction
Cut and stitched by hand to the size ordered. A uniform pattern has far more pieces than a plain shirt — two pocket flaps, two pocket bags, two epaulettes, a collar with a stand, a reinforced placket — and each must sit symmetrically. On leather every needle hole is permanent, so there is no adjusting a seam after the fact.
Epaulettes are buttoned at the collar end and stiffen the shoulder line so the leather does not collapse there. Pocket flaps are backed so they lie flat rather than curling. The placket is reinforced behind the fastenings, which is what stops the front stretching over time.
Fit and styling
Structured regular fit, made to sit cleanly rather than close. Take your normal shirt size and avoid sizing down — our slim leather shirts are the better pattern if you want fitted. Custom sizing is free.
