Handmade Men's Black Leather Lace Up Pull Over Leather Shirt
This is a pull-over leather shirt rather than a button-through one. There is no full front placket — instead the neck opens partway down and closes with leather lacing, and the shirt goes on over your head. It is an older pattern than the button shirt, and it gives a cleaner, unbroken front that the modern shirt cannot. Handmade in black leather.

The laced neck
The opening runs from the neck down to mid chest and closes with a leather lace through metal eyelets. Pull the lace tight and it closes to the throat; leave it loose and the front opens into a V. That gives the shirt two quite different looks without any hardware.
The lace is leather rather than cord, which lasts far longer and does not fray. Eyelets are metal set through reinforced tabs so the lace does not cut into the hide.
Why a pull-over shirt fits differently
With no full opening down the front, the body has to be cut generously enough to go over your shoulders and head. That is why the fit is relaxed rather than slim, and it is not a limitation you can design around — every pull-over shirt in every material works this way.
The upside is the front. A button shirt always has a placket line down it; this one does not, so the leather runs unbroken from the neck opening to the hem, which is a large part of why the pattern still looks good.
Handmade construction
Cut and stitched by hand to the size ordered. On a pull-over the shoulder and neck are the critical measurements, since there is no fastening to adjust — if the neck opening is too tight it simply will not go on. Eyelet spacing is set by hand so the lacing pulls straight.
Styling
Laced tight with dark trousers it reads clean and slightly historical. Laced loose over a plain tee with jeans and boots it reads casual. It suits anyone drawn to medieval, viking or renaissance styling, and works equally as a plain leather top with no reference intended.
