Why the proportions matter

A men's B3 sized down is not a women's B3. The shoulder width, the depth of the collar and the length of the body all scale differently, and a jacket that simply shrinks all three ends up with a collar that sits too high and shoulders that drop past the joint. That is why so many women find vintage-cut shearling unwearable.

This pattern is drafted separately: shoulders set narrower, body cut shorter so it ends at the natural waist rather than the hip, and the collar reduced in depth so it frames the face instead of covering it.

Real sheepskin
