The leather

The shell is real leather with enough substance to hold its shape at the shoulders while still being comfortable over a shirt. It arrives with a light surface sheen that goes softer and more matte with wear. Because there is no decoration on it, the grain of the hide is what you look at — so the panels are cut from clean sections rather than whatever is left over.

Snaps are set through reinforced tabs so they do not pull out. The back panel is a single clean piece, which is what you want if patches are going on it later. Inside there is a lining and a chest pocket.

Fit and styling

The fit is shaped through the waist and ends at the hip. Take your normal size to wear over a shirt or tee, and size up if it is going over a leather jacket. Armholes are cut high enough that the vest stays on the shoulder rather than sliding back.
