Fashion Quality Navy V Bomber Leather Jacket
This description is about how the jacket is built rather than how it looks, because on a fur-collar bomber the construction is what determines whether you still own it in ten years. Navy leather shell, full fur collar, lined body — and underneath that, a set of reinforcement details that never show in a photograph and are the first things a cheaper jacket leaves out.

Where a fur-collar jacket fails
Three places, in order. The neckline, because a large collar pulls on it every time you move — unreinforced, the seam stretches and the collar starts sitting badly. The shoulder seams, which carry the combined weight of collar and shell. And the zip base, which takes the whole load every time you pull the jacket closed.
All three are reinforced here: the neckline and shoulders with backing tape and double stitching, and the zip stitched onto a reinforced tape so the pull goes into the seam rather than into a single layer of hide.
The lining
Lined through the body rather than just at the back, which is a real difference. A part-lined jacket is cheaper to make and noticeably colder, because the unlined panels have nothing between the leather and you. A full lining also lets the jacket slide on over a knit instead of dragging on it.
Together with the wind-blocking shell and the fur at the neck, that makes this a genuine winter jacket rather than a three-season one.
Navy, and why it lasts
Navy on hide has depth — darker in the creases and at the seams, lighter across the panels. It reads close to black in low light and clearly blue in daylight. Practically, it is one of the more forgiving colours to own: it hides marks nearly as well as black, and it pairs with brown boots and bags where black leather clashes with them.

Fit and styling
Regular fit. Take your normal size — room for a jumper is already built into the pattern, so avoid sizing up unless you want it loose.
Navy works with grey, cream, camel and denim, and with brown leather accessories. Keep the rest plain since the collar already carries the jacket. See our Men Bomber Leather Jackets for plainer shapes, our B3 Bomber Jackets for full shearling, or Men Leather Jackets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the jacket fully lined?
Yes, through the body rather than only at the back. A part-lined jacket is colder and drags when you put it on.
What is reinforced?
The neckline and shoulder seams, which carry the collar's weight, and the zip tape, which takes the load every time you close the jacket.
Is the leather real?
Yes, real leather dyed navy, with enough substance to carry the collar.
How does navy compare with black for wear?
It hides marks nearly as well and pairs with brown boots and bags where black leather clashes with them.
Can you tell me more about the fur?
Message us before ordering if you need details on the fur type and sourcing and we will confirm before you buy.
What size should I order?
Your normal size. Room for a jumper is already built into the pattern. Custom sizing is free.
How do I care for it?
Dry cloth on the leather and a soft brush on the fur. Never soak the fur or use leather conditioner on it.
