Genuine White Leather Sleeves Jacket For Men
This is the varsity in its original form: a wool body with genuine leather sleeves in a contrasting colour. White sleeves are the classic choice and the boldest, because pale leather against a darker body gives the sharpest contrast of any combination. It is the version that looks most like the jackets the shape came from.

Why wool and leather together
The combination is not arbitrary. Wool is warm, breathable and comfortable across the body where you sit against it; leather takes abrasion, which is what the sleeves get — against desks, doors, car doors and bag straps. Each material is doing what it is best at.
The visual split is a by-product of that practicality, and it is why the shape has lasted. An all-leather varsity looks heavier and reads as outerwear; wool and leather reads as a varsity.
White sleeves, honestly
White leather is the hardest finish to keep. It shows marks that a dark sleeve would hide, and the main risk is dye transfer — from a dark bag strap, a car seat, or new denim. Treated quickly with a leather-safe cleaner it usually lifts; left for weeks it may not.
None of that is difficult, it just needs attention. If you would rather not think about it, the darker sleeve combinations are in our Men Varsity Jackets range.
Build
Snap front placket, each snap set through a reinforced tab so it does not tear out. Ribbed collar, cuffs and hem in a dense knit that recovers rather than stretching out. Two side pockets at the hip, set at an angle so they work seated or standing. Lined body, and a plain back panel if you want lettering or a patch added later.
The shoulder seam — where wool meets leather — is double stitched and reinforced, because two different materials joined at a load-bearing seam is the point a varsity most often fails.
Fit and styling
Regular varsity fit, roomier than a modern bomber. Take your normal size — room for a hoodie is already built in, so avoid sizing up unless you want it noticeably loose.
Jeans and trainers. With white sleeves the jacket already carries the contrast, so keep the rest of the outfit plain and dark. See our Men Bomber Leather Jackets or Men Leather Jackets for all-leather options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the whole jacket leather?
No. The sleeves are genuine leather and the body is wool, which is the traditional varsity construction.
Why wool on the body?
Wool is warmer and more comfortable across the body; leather goes on the sleeves because that is where the abrasion happens.
Do white sleeves mark easily?
More than dark ones. Dye transfer from bags, seats or new denim is the main risk and usually lifts with a leather-safe cleaner if treated early.
Can I add lettering or a patch?
Yes. The back panel is left plain for that.
Can I wear a hoodie underneath?
Yes. Varsity proportions are roomier than a modern bomber and already allow for it.
What size should I order?
Your normal size. Avoid sizing up unless you want it noticeably loose. Custom sizing is free.
How do I clean it?
Dry cloth on the leather sleeves and a soft brush on the wool body. Never machine wash or dry clean a wool-and-leather jacket.
