What has been slimmed
The shoulders are narrowed so the seam sits on the joint rather than dropping past it, the body is taken in through the chest and waist, and the sleeves are cut closer. The ribbing at the collar, cuffs and hem is kept shallower than on a traditional bomber, which stops the jacket blousing out above the waist.

Minimal hardware
One front zip, two hip pockets, nothing else. No epaulettes, no chest zips, no buckles. On a slim jacket that restraint matters — hardware breaks up a close silhouette and makes it look busy, where a clean front keeps the line unbroken.
The zip is metal tooth on a reinforced tape, in a dark finish so it does not stand out against the black hide.
Build
Real leather chosen with enough weight to hang cleanly but not so heavy that a slim cut becomes stiff. Seams are double stitched and reinforced at the shoulders. There is an interior chest pocket and a smooth lining so the jacket slides on over a knit without dragging.
Fit and styling
Slim fit. Take your normal size over a t-shirt or fine knit, and size up if you want to layer anything thicker. Leather has no stretch, so between sizes go up rather than down.
