No lacing, no panelling, no decoration — just real leather in the shape of a pair of jeans. Jeans pattern in leather

The layout is a proper five-pocket jeans cut: two front scoop pockets, a coin pocket, two back patch pockets, and a yoke below the waistband that shapes the seat. Building that in leather is more work than in denim, because every pocket bag has to be backed and every stress point reinforced so the hardware does not tear the hide.

The advantage is familiarity. You already know how a pair of jeans should fit, so you already know how these should fit.

The leather

Real leather with enough weight to hang straight and take daily wear, and enough flexibility to be comfortable from the first week. It starts firm and softens noticeably over the first month, after which it moves with you. Wear points at the knee and seat develop a slight sheen over time, which most owners consider an improvement.

Seams are double stitched with heavy thread. The waistband is faced with belt loops set through reinforced points.

Fit and styling

Regular fit with a straight leg. Take your normal jeans waist size. Leather has no stretch, so go up rather than down if you are between sizes, or take Custom. The leg is cut to break over a shoe.
