Fitting leather
A slim leather shirt is harder to make than a slim cotton one because leather does not ease into a curve. The shaping has to come from the pattern — shaped side seams and back darts — rather than from making the whole thing smaller, which would just pull across the chest.
That is why the sizing advice on this shirt runs the other way from most: if you are between sizes, go up rather than down. A slim leather shirt one size too small is unwearable in a way a slim cotton one is not.
Collar and front
The collar is a pointed shirt collar with a stand, cut so it rolls rather than lying flat.
