The case for plain

Build

Seams are double stitched with heavy polyester thread. Hip pockets outside, interior pocket inside the left front, and armholes bound rather than left raw.

The hide is chosen firm rather than soft, because a vest takes constant abrasion from seat backs and bag straps, and a soft leather sags at the shoulder within a year.
