Mens Vintage Leather Baseball Bomber Jacket
The baseball jacket differs from a standard bomber in one visible way: it fastens with snaps down the front instead of a zip. That single change alters the whole front of the jacket — a clean placket instead of a zip line, and the option to wear it open in a way a zip bomber never manages neatly. Add ribbed trims and a vintage leather finish and you have the varsity shape in leather rather than wool.

Snaps rather than a zip
A snap placket is the defining feature of a baseball jacket. Practically it gives you a flatter, cleaner front, since there is no zip tape running up the centre. It also lets you wear the jacket half-fastened or fully open with the placket hanging straight, which is how most people actually wear one.
The trade-off against a zip is wind: snaps leave small gaps between fasteners where a zip seals completely. That makes this a milder-weather jacket than a zip bomber. Zip versions are in our Men Bomber Leather Jackets range.
Each snap is set through a reinforced tab so it does not tear out of the hide, which is where cheap snap-front jackets fail first.
The vintage finish
The leather is finished with an uneven, worn-in tone rather than a flat one — deeper in the grain, lighter across the high points. It arrives looking like a jacket that has already been worn for a season, and wear adds to that rather than starting from scratch.
Elbows, cuffs and the placket edges lighten first. Within a year it looks genuinely old, which is the point of buying a vintage finish rather than a flat black.
Build
Knitted rib at the collar, cuffs and hem, dense enough to recover rather than stretch out. Double-stitched seams with reinforcement at the shoulders. Two hip pockets, an interior pocket, and a smooth lining so the jacket slides on over knitwear.
Fit and styling
Regular fit. Take your normal size — the pattern includes room for a jumper or hoodie underneath, so avoid sizing up unless you want it loose.
The baseball shape is the most casual leather jacket we make. Jeans, trainers, a t-shirt or a hoodie. Brown works with blue denim particularly well. See our Men Leather Jackets for biker and other shapes, or Men Leather Shirts to wear underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why snaps instead of a zip?
Snaps are what define a baseball jacket. They give a flatter front and let the jacket be worn open with the placket hanging straight.
Is it as windproof as a zip bomber?
Slightly less. Snaps leave small gaps between fasteners, so this suits milder weather better than a zip bomber does.
Will the snaps pull out?
No. Each is set through a reinforced tab rather than a single layer of hide.
What does the vintage finish mean?
The leather is finished with an uneven, worn-in tone so it arrives already looking lived in, and ages further from there.
Can I wear a hoodie underneath?
Yes. Room for a layer is built into the pattern.
What size should I order?
Your normal size. Avoid sizing up unless you want it noticeably loose. Custom sizing is free.
How do I care for it?
Dry cloth, keep away from direct heat, condition twice a year with a neutral conditioner. Never machine wash or dry clean.
