Artificial leather is the right material for a costume jacket because it is lighter to wear through a long convention day, easier to spot clean after an event, and it takes stud hardware without the cost of piercing real hide hundreds of times. If you want a daily-wear studded jacket in real leather, we make those separately.
Spike and Stud Detailing
Spikes run across the shoulder yokes and down the outer sleeves, with smaller studs filling the lapels and pocket edges. Each piece is set through the panel with a backing plate rather than glued, so they hold through normal handling, packing and travel to an event.
Fit and Wearing It
Cut as a standard biker shape at hip length. Order your usual size for a costume fit that still allows movement, or one up if you plan to wear layers or padding underneath for a character build. The sleeves are cut to sit at the wrist so gloves can tuck under.
