The hide and build

100% leather chosen firm rather than soft, because a vest takes constant abrasion from seat backs and bag straps, and a soft hide sags at the shoulder inside a year. Double-stitched seams with heavy polyester thread. Two side pockets backed so they hold weight, an interior pocket, bound armholes cut to clear a jacket sleeve.

The back is a single clean panel with no seam across it, ready for patches or club colours.
