Who a neutral leather jacket suits
Anyone who has tried on a biker jacket and felt it was wearing them. The wide lapels, belt and asymmetric zip on a biker are strong shapes, and they suit some builds and outfits far more than others.
A neutral jacket does not impose anything. The shoulders sit where your shoulders are, the front line runs straight, and the length stops at the hip — which works over trousers, jeans, skirts and dresses without cutting you anywhere awkward.
The trade-off, honestly

Why plain jackets are harder to build
Detailing hides errors. Zips, panels and belts break up the surface so an uneven seam or a mismatched panel disappears among them. On a clean jacket the eye follows the seam lines with nothing else to look at, so every join has to run true and the panels have to be cut from hide of matching weight and grain.
That is why the panels here come from clean, consistent sections rather than from whatever is left over on the skin, and why a plain jacket is a fair test of how a workshop actually works.
Build
Real leather in a weight chosen to hang cleanly without stiffness. Double-stitched seams, reinforced at the shoulders. Interior pocket and a smooth lining so the jacket slides on over a knit rather than dragging. With no hardware beyond the closure, it is among the lighter leather jackets we make.
Fit and styling
Regular fit. Take your normal size over a shirt or fine knit, and size up if you want to layer a jumper — leather does not stretch, so the room has to be ordered in rather than appearing with wear.
